The end of the basement and the BS that comes with it
I am going to try and make this short and sweet. The basement will be removed from CappersMall. A lot of the threads will be moved to Main Street. Some will not
The personal bashing that has gone on in the basement for a while now is over with. We are getting back to basics, and what separated cappersmall from some other forums is that we did not allow the personal bashing, the over the top disrespect in any of our forums. The basement interferes with that policy Feel free to use Main Street for a lot of the stuff you would have used the basement for, except the personal crap. As a courtesy to other members that might be at work or at home with the family, please note in your title if a thread in Main Street is not suitable for family or work place. Over the last year or so I have relaxed a lot when it comes to what has been acceptable and while I have no intention of making this the "no fun forum", it is time to get back to the old CapperMall. Sarcastic humor, etc will always be part of all forums and that can be a good thing but no more posts or threads that have no benefit to the big picture here and only serve the purpose of flaming and bashing. Those who feel the need to do that kind of crap to make them feel better about themselves won't be here long. There is a small group of members that I do feel will probably make a quick exit! No one is exempt or bigger than the forum. I am not going to single anyone out, but you know who you are. Thanks for listening, just wanted everyone to understand what we are doing and what happened to the basement. To the members that contribute in a positive way to make the mall a better place, THANK YOU!
