EU stopping us betting!?
Hello everyone,
I live across the pond and thought I'd bring this to your attention. Basically, for those of us who like to gamble on European sporting events (in my case soccer), then chances are it might be that you would want to use a Bookmaker based in Europe to place that bet. Well the problem is that the European Union has adopted a policy where it restricts access to online Bookmakers and gambling agencies for people living in certain countries, for example France.
The long and short of this is there is less competition between gambling suppliers, meaning that we all get worse value on the odds we are quoted. This is annoying, and very unfair. There's a petiton called right2bet which is worth a google. Sign it and let us all get better value on our gambling!
