I remember sitting glued to the TV as a teenager waitin' to see him jump Snake River Canyon in his rocket. Lol, I even made a flying model rocket later on with the same design as his.

Remember seeing the footage of him crash landing in slow motion - I think it was at Caesar's Palace, as the sound effects of every bone in his body breakin' was added in?

Ya gotta hand it to him - he did something no one ever had thought of doin' before. A real showman.

I'll take out the ol' toy Evel Knievel Supercycle I still got stashed away and give it a winder rev up in yer honor. RIP Evel.

if you were a boy growing up in the 1970's, then Evel Kneivel was IT. That Caesar's Palace jump and a Webley Stadium jump are forever etched in my mind. They used to show them live on ABC's Wide World of Sports ("spanning the globe...").

Amazing that he lived as long as he did.

RIP Evel.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?
