Families in legal feud over Beckham jersey

Two families in Hawaii are on the brink of going to court to settle their sons' fight over a David Beckham jersey.

The Honolulu Advertiser says the legal wrangling began after Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy played a Feb. 22 game at Aloha Stadium. The two boys, aged 9 and 10, had clamored throughout for Beckham's attention and held up "Go Bekcham" and "Aloha Beckham" signs.

But now one family says it's theirs because their boy got it first. The other family says they get it, because only their son held his sign aloft the entire game.

We favor the Solomon-like solution suggested by Galaxy GM Alexi Lalas: Get out the scissors.

As they said on PTI tonight, in a league that needs all the publicity it can get, Beckham and LA should give them both autographed jersies

Problem solved and the league gets some positive publicity

it was mentioned on espn? i rarely watch that channel so i didnt see it
