The world's largest golf tee is 3.3 meters long. It is made of spruce wood and was completed in 2004 as a part of the HARIBO Children and Young Persons Golf Series in Germany.

In 1932, James Norris purchased the Detroit Falcons hockey team and renamed them the Red Wings. Norris had played for a Montreal team named the Winged Wheelers, which inspired both the name and the winged wheel logo on the NHL's Motor City franchise.

The New York Rangers got their name after MSG president 'Tex' Rickard bought the team in 1926; people began calling them Tex's Rangers.

John Stalberger invented the Hackey Sack in 1972, when he was trying to rehabilitate his knee after a football injury.

In 1932, Stella Walsh of Poland won the 100 meter race in the Olympic Games. It was only until her death in 1980 did the autopsy reveal that she was actually a man.

lol thanks. It doesnt look that big. I would think some golf company could make a bigger one than this and put it outside their headquarters or something.

They need to make a giant golfball to mount on that giant tee so people would know exactly what it is suppose to be.
