i absolutely HATE that guy, he is so annoying. not for the morning.

i actually wish they got a guy that could broaden their horizon in sports. i actually like to 550 more now. they have way better topics. however with the bills sucking, it does get harder. but like i said before. i love their games. in the morning, the buddy nix game or their random fantasy drafts.

590 does nothing of the sort. its the leafs this and the leafs that. oh nazim kadri skated past the blue line, lets analyze this. ron wilson changed his 4th line center to right wing, lets analyze this.

only time i like listening to the fan now is when mccown has good guests. i like bert sugar, don banks.

somewhat off topic. always love when dan shulman in on the fan590 with bob. they should pay him through the roof and get him to do radio(never will happen)

it's why i dont watch tsn too. same thing, hockey news and info about the size of taylor hall's c*** and what he does between noon and 3 every day or other shite filler segments.

this channel a living joke getting hell beat out of it by the score for true sports info and entertaining segments. tsn laughable as sports station...don't even show college scores or have segments until bowl time..then off the bandwagon or gives a tersary clip about one big college game and score....hilarious...

and hockey and more hockey news about nothing...they last to report on most relevant vital stuff.......and the rest is mere fluff.

tsn a pure joke now imo.

yes, it caused me to turn off station as well. guy is out of his league...don't know his details of employment...but he doesn't last imo. big mistake made on mgmt part..and they already know it so says the good word "milling" around.

i hope this is true. i know i will get sick of bills talk by mid oct and i emailed thefan with a half decent response about the morning show guy. i hope they find a replacement soon.

i remember hearing strombopoulous(sp?) name thrown around and that would have been amazing.

also i think for the people that want to hear people pushing the envelope, those people are already listening to the dean blundell show in the morning or stern on satellite. i believe the majority of the fan590 listeners are looking for legit journalism and good opinions.

no one listening to Fan (myself included) is doing so for cutting edge entertainment. journalism (as in accurate reporting with sources) and insight on various sports' happenings and games are all we ask from this station. and a bit less leaf and jays drama. please.

I listen to the fan from time to time, mostly the hockey show at noon hour & sometimes Prime time sports. However, I am getting sick & tired of John Shannon being the co-host, they need to get someone else & give him a break.

However, on the plus side, it's nice to see that they have finally got a contract again with ESPN radio, so we don't have to listen to constant replays over & over again.
