Fan Killed On Opening Day

Truely a tragic story. A fan was killed on opening day when he got into a fight with another fan after the game had ended. Aparently a friend of the person who the fan got into the fight with, jumped in, sucker punched the fan, who then fell down and hit his head against a concrete step. The other two fled.

Where did this happen? Not in Philly, even though they lost. Not in Chicago, or L.A. This happened in Anaheim, after the Angels game. The fan, a 27 year old rabid Angel fan had attended every game last season. He had an Angel tatoo on his arm. How sick is this? Fans being killed at a Basebasll game, of all things. Funny that the Angels had just defeated, you guessed it, OAKLAND. I guess the Raider fans just can't wait for the season to come around. Yes, the two culprits are suspected of being Oakland fans, though that has not been proven yet.

yeah that's pathetic.

i always laugh at the idiots who start fights in or outside of wrigley.

honestly, banter is one thing, but to get so mad that you try to ****ing put someone in the hospital over a bunch of millionaires playing a game?

Anaheim fans are amongst the most passive fans in the game. For this to happen should put red flags up al all stadiums.

BDQH, I understand that you live in the Anaheim area, although I could be mistaken. If so, Are you surprised that this happened in your community, "Oakland fans" not withstanding?

Similar tragic stories abound throughout America.

regardless of how passive the fan base is...there will always be situations and people that do stupid things like this. hopefully someone knew these people and will turn them in
