Fans and Excuses

Just once I would like to see when a team loses something like this from the fans.

Good job. Your team was the better team and deserved to win. They did what it took to win.

But somehow we only hear.

Cheaters, Fixed, Stolen, Robbed, Ripped Off, David Stern, etc...

I am not perfect but when I lose or my team loses I congratulate the other team and move on. Excuses just make you look like a whiner

Its tough to lose games even for fans. Sometimes its harder on the fans then it is for the players. But I agree with your statements Jack.

It's definately hard. I have been there. But sucking it up and admitting defeat is much classier. JMO

Its easier to point fingers for some then to own up to the fact that they got their ass handed to them. We all at one time or another have made statements like you listed above or something similiar. It takes a real man to own up to the true facts of the game. Example: no one in here has used any excuses on the Steelers winning the Super Bowl. The rings have been on their fingers for a long time yet the excuses have been flying and they will continue to fly all season. I find them laughable yet embarrassing for the excuse makers. Excuses are like a$$holes, everyone has one. Great post Jack

I admitted it that the Colts sucked when Pittsburgh beat them. Refs even tried to help out the Colts but they still lost. Sometimes refs do what they can to help a certain team win and it is easily noticeable. Most of the times they dont. As far as last nights game, which I assume sparked this whole thing, would 99% of the refs call that BS foul that late in the game? No. Was that the reason Dallas choked away that huge lead? NO.

PS. Did anyone see that Fever game yesterday?

The NBS is a joke all in its own. I have not watched one game and wont waste my time. When certain players get called for fouls and others don't, that tells me all I need to know about the NBA. By the way Cat, thanks for letting me know that Miami won the game last night. Its all about money and more games. Mark my word, Dallas wins BIG TIME in the next game. The NBA is a joke and thats not an excuse its a fact.
