Lightbulb Father’s Day Appreciation

Father’s Day Appreciation

You know I never really appreciated Fathers Day before (kind of like my son now, lol). After 36 of them – I finally do. Many of you know my dad has been battling Lung and Brain Cancer. Our relationship has come a long way since this battle (much to late but better than never).

Anyway yesterday was a great day spending it with him and I know he sensed it as well. Not sure why I am sharing this with the forum but just felt like it.

Appreciate your fathers people so you won't have regrets later!!!

It is amazing how sometimes we take the people closest to us for granted until a huge wakeup call comes and unfortunately most of the time that is a tragedy thats needed for us to realize how important they are to us.

We get so tied up in our busy lives that we sometimes forget what is the most important aspects of our lives which without a doubt is family. Wake up each morning with the understanding that this might be the last morning you wake up and live it to the fullest and let the people that are closest to you know how you feel about them. Don't let a day go by without letting them know how important they are to you in your life because again we never know when it will be our last day or somebody elses.

God bless you Jack and your family and anyone else who is living through this type of ordeal right now and in the future.

Glad you had a great Fathers Day! I lost my father many years ago and there is not one single day that i do not think of him and miss him. I wish your Father all the best in his battle and always remember things have a way of working themselves out.
