Favorite Sports moment to rub in

I know everyone who reads this thread expects me to bring up something against the crimson turds....and I can, trust me no team has beat them as many times as Auburn has....but my favorite rub it in moment is this:

1987/1988 Sugar Bowl

Undefeated 11-0 Syracuse came in and they were athletic and big in a way that the Northeast does not produce players anymore.

They out gained us and was the better team, but my beloved Tigers were talented as well and fought back and in the end Coach Pat Dye made a decision that will make him one of the most hated and loved among two fan bases.

On 4th down with no overtime rules and in a bowl game that still mattered to them, we kick a 15 yard field goal to tie the game.

When the media spoke with Cuse players who were angry and hurt that we did not try to win the game. The nicest words they said was when they nicknamed our Coach Pat "tie" Dye

I have Cuse fans tell me they cried. I felt like Cartman on Southpark when he said Scott Tenorman must die

After the game Coach Dye said "If they wanted to win so bad they should have blocked the kick"

Trust me my team has been the butt of some bad moments but few compare to spoiling a mythical national championship

living in Seattle it is for sure the Patriots INT at the goal line of the super bowl. I get a lot of mileage off that one still

This is sad but I really don't think I had one... I am a Mets, Jets, and Nets, and don't really have a college team. was born in 1986, havn't been alive to see any of my teams win a championship... I can for sure name a bunch sports moments that other people can rub in my face... Mets losing to Yankees in 2000 WS hurt, Jets getting owned by the Pats have hurt for over a decade now. I really got nothing i'll keep thinking...

In 2010 Auburn goes off at 100:1 to win it all. This will still be around here playing when Bohemian Rhapsody, Baba O'Reilly, old time rock n roll are memories

My first sports bet for real money ($100, a 1/25th new car or about a grand today) was not a moment but a stunned numb feeling. I bet that the expansion team was not going to beat the practically flawless Baltimore Orioles in week 5.

Words from the sixties that when I hear, I add: Baltimore
Orioles not Ravens

Words from the sixties that when I hear, I add: lined up in the "neutral zone"
