Favre rooting for Packers? Says they win it all

NFL Playoffs: Brett Favre thinks Green Bay Packers are best team left, 'will win it all' - ESPN

Quote:
Favre said Monday that the Packers are "by far" the best team left in the NFL playoffs.

"[Packers QB] Aaron [Rodgers] is the best QB and the receiving corps is the best ever, maybe," Favre said in the e-mail. "But [defensive coordinator] Dom [Capers] and the defense gets the MVP award at this stage."
Quote:
"I think they will win it all! I hope they do, if you are wondering," Favre said in the e-mail.

He's got to say all the right things about the Packers. Eventually they'll retire his number and do all them things to honor, the Packer legend and some might even forget that he went to NY or Minnesota. The way it ended maybe they don't care anymore.

I don't think it's anything but normal for him to root for them... He's a life-long Packer... The state of Wisconsin still loves him... only natural to go back to your roots..

besides, he wasn't ready (IMHO) to leave when he left... I don't think he's bitter about it anymore... He's had a great run...

the rest of us can be happy we won't have to see headlines every other day about his status... I like the guy - always have... just we have too much media these days with nothing to report...

he may still have disdain for the front office, but the team, the fans, etc im sure he loves and always will, no doubt he retires a packer

I can't disagree with his assessment & would love to see Green Bay play Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. One of the best offenses vs potentially the best defense, I think it is a great matchup.
