File Recovery

Does anyone know how to recover documents after I emptied my recycle bin?

i suppose you don't use a MAC system...

on WinXP systems it is VERY tricky...

the problem, there software, BUT if you install teh software AFTER you delteed a file, the software might install at the same place on the HDD (physical)... so you should have installed it before OR run it from an USB stick or flash device...

i can rec. UndeleteMyFiles 2.2 (freeware) and Schredit V1.0h (not even $20)

andways, goodluck... and i hope the data wasn't TOO important

If you are running Windows

Go into programs...accessories....system tools...system restore

Click on system restore and select a date prior to your emptying of your recycle bin and it will take your computer back to that date.

All of your programs/files that you deleted will be restored back to the original state they were in on that date you chose.
