Finished with my high bowling average!
I shot a 268-226-246=740 series tonight and I ended with a personal high of 225.48 for the year!

We won the 2nd half tonight and next week we will bowl for the championship. Our averages are final after tonight though, next week won't count. A few years back I averaged a 224 but I only bowled about 40 games in that league that season. My high average for a full season is about 219.

I finished 5 pins ahead of the 2nd place average. I had the high series in the league with a 771. I also had the most individual points won for the year (on a 30 point system).

I started bowling with my glasses on at the end of last season and I started to do better. Also, I haven't been drinking as much, if at all, while I am bowling this season. Drinking does not help you bowl well.

nope.. I learned that the hard way, I tried to throw it between my legs, and smacked my leg, left a bruise for a while, lol!

Congrats BNSF. It's true about drinking and bowling. I watched my dad bowl and it seemed like he did better when he wasn't drunk.

nice series bro...........i've had a 700+ series about 10 times in my career (and i bowl a lot)............good avg.......too bad you're not near me, i play in a large $$$$ league, you'd love it........204 avg here

Oops... I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

Where are you from?

PV - I can bowl pretty good between my legs. No lie, the first time I did it I shot a 223 game. I was at the lanes with some buddies of mine and I was drunk off my ass. I had 5 or 6 strikes in a row. I could average at least 160 between my legs. With a little practice I bet I could get it up to 180.

what ball do you guys use? i have the absolute inferno...seems to work pretty well...i'm only about 175 average. My dad carries a 191 average...but i beat him every once in a while

Right now I am throwing a particle resin Hammer ball that I actually bought off of Ebay a couple years ago. The ball was brand new and undrilled. Funny story, I finally got it drilled up back in January by a buddy of mine. The very first game I threw with it I threw the first 10 strikes in a row for a 287 game. Yeah, my 11th shot was shitty. It was during an unsanctioned tournament. Last year, in the same tournament, I shot a 300 game.

Well, we won the league championship last night. I didn't have my best stuff (221-226-192=639) but the rest of my teammates bowled pretty well.

I can't wait for softball season to start!
