A first but maybe a sign of the times

Its late but I believe I just saw a commercial that Walmart is offering more for your government checks. So bring those unemployment checks in and get more for your money. I don't ever remember a commercial asking people to bring in their unemployment checks. Scary time mallers, I believe the government isn't telling us everything. Hold on to your hats because the depression draws near. Commercial real estate is going to take the next hit. You will see owners walking away from huge plaza's. Its already started happening. This walmart commercial is not good for the economy. Walmart looking for their government hand out. Commercial shock here, next thing you know their will only be one line for cash customers. The other lines will be for government checks and food stamps.

Wal Mart has run that promotion for the past couple of years. Smart move by them. You will spend it at their store.

Agree Steel, already seeing the industrial areas around here emptying out, tons of for lease signs as company go out of business, or downsize to smaller buildings. I don't se anything good in the near future

Commercial Real Estate has already been taking a hit lol. This has been going on for two years where we are and I'm sure the rest of the US in the same.

I got this info from the Schwabs about a month ago. They hunt and own the duck club I manage. It is not being talked about on the news they have been focusing on people losing their homes. The commercial real estate in my area has not changed hands in over 18 years.
