The first concert you ever saw

I don't think this thread has been started before and if it has, it has been a while

The first one I ever saw was REO Speedwagon with .38 Special back in high school. I thought I was so cool the next day wearing my REO shirt to school.

On a side note, if you like 80's music and they come your way, you should catch the "Rocking the Colonies" tour with The Alarm, The Fixx, and The English Beat. Caught them last night here in Minny and was a very good show. I am a big English Beat fan

What was the first concert you ever saw?

Still own the shirt and once in a while, throw it back on and serenade my girl with "Keep on Loving You"

First concert I ever saw was Fleetwood Mac on the Rumours tour in either 1977 or 1978 at Saratoga (SPAC). Saw the Doobie Brothers on the Minute by Minute tour the next night.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Indeed. For a long time that was the largest selling single LP in history. That was (and still is) a great album.

Huge music fan here too, used to be into concerts as a teenager, but not anymore.

Do you remember this one Judge?

Sunday Break 1 May 2, 1976, in a field at the corner of I-35 and US290-East near Austin, TX. Peter Frampton headlined, with Gary Wright, America, Santana, Cecilio & Kapono and Seals & Croft.

Was an all day event obviously. I was 19 and it was a typical hot Texas summer day and I had never seen so many girls topless in one place. Quiet an education for a small town Texas boy.
