First time going to see the Raps/Toronto FC: Some questions
Fellas, seeing that there are a fair bit of Toronto folks on here, I thought I'd ask you guys a few questions about the Raps and the Toronto FC. I and my wife will be in Toronto for this upcoming Easter long weekend and we have decided to attend a Raptors and Toronto FC game.
Tentative schedule is Washington Wizards @ Toronto Raptors Friday night April 10th and Dallas @ Toronto FC at 15:30 Saturday April 11. This will be my first time attending an NBA and MLS game so I do have a few questions if you don't mind: 1. Where should I buy tickets from (for the best deals): The teams themselves (or through ticketmaster) or second-hand websites like craigslist, kijiji or RFD's BST forum ? 2. How much should I expect to pay for decent seats in both places ? and by decent I mean I don't have use binoculars or strain my neck trying to see some actions. 3. How much does the parking cost ? or is parking pass normally included in the ticket prices ? 4. How early should we arrive at the arenas ? or in other words, how bad is the traffic around those 2 places ? We do have a car and GPS so it shouldn't be a problem getting and finding our ways around. I just want to make sure we cover our bases. If you have any other tips and tidbits, I am all ears. Thank you. |

Get the Raps tickets off of Kijiji. Can get real good seats for usually $150-250 for a set. Parking for the ACC is $20. Friday night in Toronto will be rough traffic wise, best to give yourself as much time as you think you will need.

The beauty of the ACC is that wherever you sit, you don't have to strain your eyes..but if you don't feel like paying for the golds/plats first row blacony's center court is decent..eseentially back row golds for a lot cheaper price..
craigslists and tfc are best on craigslist or kijjii... The balcony seats i've gotten 100 for the pair before...tfc games i've never really payed for (buddy has seasons), but you can go for about 80 for a pair i hear for somethign decent....traffic around game time is ridculous in Toronto. So arriving early isn't too bad, and you can take in the sights of the ACC (Y) Hope you have fun 7th Last edited by gsro; 03-10-2009 at 12:30 AM. |
