floods and tornados

with all the crazy weather going on i know flooding is not covered unless you have flood insurance, but what about tornados? does regular homeowners ins cover if your home is ripped apart ?

our first spring storm produced tornadoes in our area and it was 70+ degress ... now tonight/ tomorrow we are expecting snow... its like wtf ?

i believe insurance covers

this is one thing i want to do is storm chase where are u moving to
