Flying home tomorrow

I'm currently in Boston and I fly back home tomorrow morning. Does anyone know what is allowed and what is?? I know liquids are banned but what about my laptop, iPod or my PSP?

Call Your Airline And If They Don't Give You A Definte Answer Then I Would Call Logan Airport To Make Sure You Can Carry Those Items.

Ditto! My wifes family have a summer home at Cape Cod, and I'm taking 1 1/2 weeks and driving, instead of a week and flying. I hated flying even before all the problems, now it will be unbearable.

also I'm hearing no liquids or any personal electronic devices, laptops, ipods, cell phones, etc... They will have to be in checked in luggage.

Here ya go but calling your airline is prolly a good idea as well...

Airport security measures

The Transportation Security Administration instituted the following measures after a terror plot in Britain was thwarted:
Liquids are banned from carry-on luggage and cannot be taken through security checkpoints. That includes drinks, toothpaste, perfume, shampoo, hair gel, suntan lotion and similar items. Drinks purchased in the airport cannot be carried onto flights.
Medications will be allowed but must be presented for inspection at security checkpoints.
Mothers can bring baby formula on board, but only after drinking it in front of security officials first.
All shoes must be removed and placed on an X-ray belt for screening.
Passengers are also asked to arrive at least two hours early to allow for additional screening.
Passengers traveling to the United Kingdom should contact their airline for information about any extra security measures or precautions that might be required. Laptop computers, mobile phones and iPods are among items banned on British flights.

Thanks BP. Looks like electronic devices are ok in the US. 2 hours early. My flight is at 5am, so that means 3am. Which means I gotta wake up around 2am. I may just pull an all nighter.

I grew up in Boston and Logan is the most pitiful excuse for an airport in any major city in America. Good luck.

Good news, especially considering how busy DFW is.

yeah but DFW also has about 50 little security lines. Not sure how Boston is but if they are one that has the few big checkpoints, it could be trouble
