Ford is stuck

Been selling between $8.01 and $8.03 for half an hour. It's almost funny.

Settled in on a downswing to $7.97 which hurt my daytrade average of $8.09 on 2500 sh. But the AH bid is up nicely. Tomorrow morning earnings are announced. They beat last quarter and this quarter's estimates are conservative. I could see them beating again, still with a loss of course.

Except I live just outside of Detroit so I hear daily stories of bumbling management, disgruntled workers and ridiculous infighting with the Ford family. There's a lot of Edges and Fusions rolling around here. But not a lot of Explorers and F-150s, their cash cows. Plus, contract time is here.

I'd be shocked to see a rosey earnings call. I'll be selling off bright and early with any strength.
