Formatting help, please

Can anyone explain to me how to use the "code tags" ()so that I can copy and paste a portion of a spreadsheet and retain the formatting?

It's a bit of a pain.

You have to make sure each entry is the same amount of characters.

Example

If you have a column with

Judge
Jack
Jeromefromsoutheast

Notice Jerome has 19 characters so after Jack you would actually have to hit the space key 15 times after the "k" so it would = 19. With Judge you would have to space 14 times.

Does that make sense?

Yes but you're right, it is a pain.

Code:
Judge
Jack
Jeromefromsoutheast

It might be easier to make it a jpeg if it's for this forum where images are okay
