Former Pirate Outfielder Bill Robinson dies...

For those of you who were fans of the '79 era "We are Family" Pirates, Bill Robiinson died. He was a very personable guy who was well liked by his teammates and by the town of Pittsburgh. Was sorry to hear about his passing.

Sad news indeed....Grew up playing ball with his nephew....The whole family was a class act.....3 guys from that championship team of 79 are gone...Scurry, Pops and now Bill...

I am 40 and just thinking today how the people that I watched when I was younger are starting to pass...My parents always said to enjoy life when we are young cause time flies once you start working and get a family...Boy were they right.

R.I.P. Bill.......
