THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PICKING GOLF WINNERS
1. CLOSER with CHARACTER. Certain guys see the finish line and cross it and others are destined for second place.
2. RELAXED CONFIDENCE, FOCUS and a HUNGER to win. It's a mental game and their mind has to be in the right frame with a determination and focus. As Harry Vardon said: "To play well you must feel tranquil and at peace. I have never been troubled by nerves in golf because I felt I had nothing to lose and everything to gain."
3. COURSE. Does the course layout favor the strengths of the golfer and does it expose their weaknesses. Previous form can change immediately for those who feel comfortable on a course and its greens.

what an idiot.. at least allow him to fight another guy and put money on the sides like he was accused of in dog fighting.

imo Vick served his time.. leave him alone.. dude made a mistake.. prolly showing off for friends trying to be the cool guy. I doubt any of those people stuck around when he went through the ringer.

Carlson is entitled to his opinion, but he is out of line. What Vick did was dead wrong, but he paid a hefty price and served his time, so let him be.

agree with Stash. The guy didn't just "seve his time". He did 17 months in a Federal prison. Not a country club prison. Dude was in Leavenworth. He mopped floors. What he did was disgusting and reprehensible, but he paid for it.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

i was one that didnt think what vick did was what it made out to be. maybe because i never owned a pet so i dont connect the way some people did. but i'll just be honest and say if mike vick wasnt playing so good, alot more people would agree with this guy. we kinda live in a hypocritical society and now that he's the superman of football alot of people have swept it under the rug and starting to have more compassion for him.

When all this went down many many people in Atlanta were saying the same thing. My take has always been the guy paid a heavy price and lets move on.

Cant see how it has any thing to do with Fox as I am sure those words were uttered many more times on a more liberal news media.
