Actually, Fannie and Freddy are two of the BIGGEST reasons why the country's economy is in the dumper. Terrible management. Another pathetic effort by the Liberals in Congress to get people who have no business owning a home money to buy something that they can not afford. The Black Caucus is the biggest proponent of these rediculous agencies. Just two years ago the Democrats gave them a clean bill of health. Does that tell you how much these lying Liberals will do to ensure their vote? While Fannie and Freddie will loan anyone money if approved, the whole object of their survival was to give minorites a better chance at homeownership, which is a grea idea, if they can qualify. Clearly they allowed anyone to purchase a home, and you see the results. Wait until you see the theft tht was going on in those institutions. It will come out now.
