Cinco de Mayo is not a Mexican Independence Day. This is a common misconception among gringos.

correct. technically a celebration of mexican heritage in general i believe. i think it's actually much more common here in the United States than Mexico itself, right rmac?

Turn on Number Lock, while holding down the "ALT" key, type "165". On the forum it could take a few seconds to be recognized, but in Word, it is almost instantaneous.

There is a whole new world of computer generated language punctuation out there, Ran. Quit being such a pendejo, gringo.

No, because I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I feel absolutely qualified to call anyone a "gringo", pretty much as I see fit. The fact of the matter is that the term "gringo" is more explanatory than it is derogatory which is how the term is percieved in the US.

Rev, I do not even know why I am even responding to your drivel but I have because I am bored. The fact that you would even ask such a question is comical considering your "man without a country" status.
