Spent all day bettin cfb, won a few hundy, as soon as i decided i didnt have a late game play i felt good making, i started thinking about heading to play craps at casino....decided **** it, ill watch forrest gump, look at tomorrows games, and go to bed...around 1215 my buddy texts me "Late nite dice?"...no brainer at that point...went and came up 500 bux plus drinks for me n said buddy over like 4.5 hours...casino closes at 6, so we got the boot, not before i pissed away a bill in the 5 dollar 5 line slots..

now im home and just had to make a deal with myself to not make ne bets outside the ones i decided on earlier and for the amounts i decided on..

but i got the buzz...

how do u guys shake the scratch?

disciplined bettors...how do you maintain?

i get this kind of addict-esque quality rarely, but it can last days...

is it boredom? is it moderate success in that period (the i cant be beaten attitude) lending an opportunistic outlook to gambling?

either way, i decided to try to calm down from the redbull vodkas and just wait until tomorrow when i wake up to decide if i wanna bet more or whatever but **** all i can is see is a 5 and 2 in my head (playin from DP)

Only thing that works is taking some time away from betting till that feeling goes away (Usually till morning lol) because otherwise your cash will dwindle, IDK works for me

Just tell yourself there is always going to be another game to wager on. That craps table will always be there for you when you want it to be. There will always be another day and a better wager to make.

Sports gambling is a 365 day job IMO. And sometimes you just need to take a vaca from it.

Just remember, there is always a game going on the next day, and there is always a better wager up there.

Stick to your plan... know what it is going in and don't deviate. If you feel the need to press your luck off your original course, remove yourself from the situation (turn off the computer, go have a beer away from the book, play wii, whatever) - or allow yourself a set limit on 'fun money' - just enough to go hang out, keep it interesting, and socialize.

really wanna go shoot dice tho, but as soon as work starts tomorrow, i can stop thinking about it until next time i feel like gettin rowdy hopefully

What's gambling about for you? That's the real question. Is it the rush, becomming a world famous gambler, the women that money can buy...or being smart about money?

For me, it's about being smart about money, and only that. I have no desire to ever gamble with a negative expectation, or even a coin flip. The only bets worth making are those that can be beat consistently, and that can't be done in craps.

First thing I think of before I make a bet, is that I'm going to lose. Can I handle the situation if I do. I stopped thinking about what if I hit, and started worrying about the risk. That ensures I only make decent wagers.
