I think it comes down to mostly ,

exists because of all the TEAMS…

if you bet on another game or team
besides where you live , aren't
we really all just interested in

for ex , does Jerry Jones really want to share
his revenue with Ralph Wilson?


But in the end , he wouldn't have such a decent team

Think that its a pretty loaded question because I think peoples initial thought will be the same as mine, I watch sports for all of the above. The game, the team, and the players. I am a Boston fan but on Sundays even if the Pats are on, my tv isnt locked in on the Pats game, because someone else may be in the redzone, or Mike Vick is on offense again, or theres a commercial, and I dont want to want that while football is on because I love football.

Yeah but you just picked out one sentence out of my statement. I can do the same thing.

There will ALWAYS be football, there will ALWAYS be the Patriots, but players like Michael Vick wont play forever so you better watch him play EVERY game because there will never be another player like him.

I do love football and I understand what you are saying. Without the game, the teams and players are irrelevant. So obviously the game comes first and foremost because the players will always be coming in and out, but the game is forever.

But I think you are making this like a chicken and the egg thing, when we both know that its the complete package; the hometown teams, the rivalries, and dynamic players that make the game what it is.

There is nothing better than watching the Dodgers play on HDTV in 5.1 Surround Sound. Vin Scully calling the game, Nancy Bea on the organ. Might order MLB package just for the Dodgers
