climate changes happen, however its not man made

what can be caused by man is destruction of ecosystems, wildlife etc

a much different scenario than climate change...finding alternative energy is ok

as long as its an "alternative" let the market decide whats best

someone who lives int he city may decide to not drive and use public transportation exclusively

but thats his and the rest of the market's decision

theres no alternative energy yet developed that can get the kind of torque you need in a truck

nor is there anything more efficient than petro economically besides maybe electric

it costs more to use corn

in the end the global warming agenda is about taxation nothing more

Correct and correct.

Climate change has happened long before people and will continue long after people. The earth used to have a molten surface, and between then and now, it has hosted "ice ages" of varying severity and duration. Earth's temperature will fluctuate up and down from now until 5 billion years from now when our sun nears the end of it's life, expands, then swallows all the inner planets, including earth. It will be around 10,000 degrees here by then.

Anyone swayed by video of ice shelfs breaking and polar bears floating on diminishing chunks of ice should be made aware of the second law of thermodynamics. The warming of waters further from the equator is self-defeating. Heat flows from warmer regions to colder regions. As the formerly colder regions become closer to the temperature of the warmer water, the large-scale "churning" of the water slows. During this time the ice will grow. If more ice eventually causes the waters to cool enough in one area, however large, the warmer waters will work harder to integrate the cooler waters again. This cycle will continue virtually forever.

Of course, the earth is not a closed system. The universe is, and the second law of thermodynamics has been in play since day 1. After forever, the entire universe, including stars, planets, comets, dark matter, etc. will reach one constant temperature. That will be close to absolute zero, or about -460 degrees F, which is sort of the average temperature of everything in the universe. Good luck arguing "global warming" when the earth is a tiny burnt lump and it's -460 degrees outside.
