A good daytrade for BX for some easy quick $$

Buy it for a daytrade if it breaks over 36, and short it if it goes under 35.80, tight sideways action in this range, just an FYI

just shorted BX, 5,000 shares at 35.80, if it can get under 35.67, will be even better, should take a little tumble

Covered all 5,000 shares of my short at 34.38, for a gain of 1.42 and a profit of $7,100, I hope some followed, this one was to easy to call. Huge trade in an hours time.

Throw me a bone here and walk through what you looked for in the last hour as far as breaking up or down. Are you using a 3 minute chart or one minute? Are you looking for a clear break over or under the 13 SMA or something
different?

Sorry for the long response, I was gone for the weekend. I was using 1 minute charts. I wasn't really looking for anything, as I was trading throughout the day, around 2:35, I noticed that BX was trading in a tight range from 1pm-2:48pm. The stocks highs was 36 and the lows was 35.77 during this time range. I knew depending on if it past 36 it would break out to the upside and if it broke under 35.80, it would break down and would be short. It was a intra day technical breakdown, and when it was hanging around 35.80, I saw the the selling was starting to load up and that the stock was heading south. Follow the time line below and you will see it, this is a good way to daytrade and is usually how I daytrade stocks. At the sametime, when I covered my short I called it a day and missed an easy opportunity to buy the stock for another quick trade because I knew the shorts would cover and it presented another opportunity to make some money, and it shot back up a dollar real quick.
