We are among the most blessed people on Earth, and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.

While this is true, it is no reason to accept the rapid decline of the American culture.

We have to take a stand. The decline of our nation as a whole has been occuring side by side with every achievement and good fortune that we've encountered as a country over the last several decades, I guess kindof like checks and balances but for the most part, all I can say without getting to deep into this is some bad apples will spoil a bunch.Take that for what its worth because you can say anymore without slamming some type of government official or political figure and no 'one' person is to blame but our society has slid way down in values. Just watch the news tonite and think about this post.By no means should we accept it.

Exactly. Just because we have it better than most....doesn't mean we should accept anything. Besides, so what if people are complaining even though we have it better than most. People are complaing because they want things to get better and stay better.

In the end...it's all relative....nobody sits around mierable and says to themselves.....at least I'm not in Darfur. That is not the reality we live in the U.S. wecompare ourselves toeach other...even if it can be ridiculous.

All that being said........we as Americans are very self indulgent, impatient and very self imprtant......most people have no idea what true suffering or hardship is
