If I remember, I'll try to use twice as much electricity for that hour.

LOL. what a stupid idea. Like one friggin' hour would change anything. Stop. Please. No one (other than the tree-huggers) is going to do this. NO ONE.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I'm going to participate I know it's not going to do anything but maybe it will be the start of something. We are leaving our grandchildren in great peril with the way we are living today

I would look at participating if it wasn't being done on a Saturday night when I have Elite 8 basketball games on, baseball games on, and hockey games on tv.

Now if they would like to pick a day like the day after the Baseball AllStar break where no sports are being played at all I might be a bit more receptive to the idea, lol!!

slighty different idea but I have heard rumor of it, was the independent truckers talking about going on strike because of the rising gas prices. So if they strike and I dont get the flat screen I bought my wife as my going away here keep yourself occupied gift then I guess I will be honoring the 8pm electricity strike lol

How about a no electricity day every year. Sometime in May when you don't need heat or air conditioning. I mean would it really be that bad.
