Craigs list might be missed for the hookers. Wikopedia? Really? Who cares? Anyone can go there and change it.

It will probably end up like the gambling bill. Was passed to protect us from scam books like UltimateBet and the Libtards used it to try and shutdown every offshore gambling site.

Well-funded interests on either side of SOPA and PIPA are lining up support among members of Congress.

To be fair, if voter turnout is any reflection of public confidence in politicians America isn't the only counrty in North America with issues.

I agree, we have many issues here but the biggest problem with the States are all the Special Interest groups....these politicians are suppose to work for the people not these useless groups, it boggles my mind sometimes how they have so much influence on policy and legislation, it is just not right.

Good point, but every special interest group starts off as one person with an idea, who bands together with similar minded people. An organized lobby uses money to gain political forum under the premise of supporting awareness of their issue. Which inspires other like minded people to back a candidate who appeals to them, as it inspires candidates to back "hot button" issues for votes. My point is that any legislation is either a reflection of popular opinion, or the result of a bunch of hard working people bringing an issue to the forefront.
Glass half empty/half full argument?
