The curling is professionalish. You can't make a living curling as far as I'm aware but the Tournament of hearts is the premiere Canadian curling tournament.

As for one of the best moments in sports history there are tons of them, but I'll mention the 1987 Indiana Hoosiers buzzer beater to win the tourney as one of my favourite.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

2 come to mind for me as my personal favorites. Bobby Orrs winning goal in 1970 in OT to win Stanley Cup(has to be one of the most famous sports pictures in history) And John Daly winning 1991 PGA at Crooked Stick. This one more so because I was there and saw it in person but still has to be one of the greatest upsets in sports history...
