Ground Zero Mosque

Wondering what my fellow americans think of this....Personally I think it's a slap in the face to the 9/11 victims and families...Obama says it should be a local issue and he will not get involved...thats a little messed up, I would think this a national issue...he had no problem putting his two cents in the Arizona illegal immigrants issue...I just think a mosque there is unsympathetic...

The only problem is that if you say no you look like a racist and your grouping all Muslims with the extremists which are 2 different groups all together. That is a dangerous and slippery slope. Your basically saying all Muslims are responsible for 9/11 The terrorists just happened to be Muslim.

The terrorists didnt happen to be Muslim. And phuck political correctness the muslims have no business erecting a Mosk across the street from where they murdered 2800 people.
You have no problem lumping right wing Christians together and saying anything you want, but we have to be nice because it might hurt someones feelings.

Got that right and it should not be against the law. But in the name of common decency find another place.

Maybe that is what they should do, so as there are anti semitic idiots out there, you are basically admitting to being anti-muslim, grouping all Muslims together, so in that case you must really hate BP since he is Muslim and from Pakistan of all places, thats just wrong.

this is true as long as it doesnt interfere and supersede anything else

including business

in some european nations they have frankly been too tolerant

it became ok for a muslim taxi driver to refuse service to some because he deems them intoxicated

its offensive to his religion

this is when his religion became too important and his differences were put above the rest

as long people assimilate while maintaining identity I see no problem

The only problem I see with it is that it is asking for trouble (well, I guess that's what religion does -- so.. yeah, no problem).

I am not anti anything, but I dont believe in being politically correct. Muslims flew planes into two buildings from what I understand across the street from where they now want to build a Mosque. That is BS and it is an in your face action.
I do believe in being a gentleman and if I were Muslim and not extremist I think I could grasp the fact that that might not be the best place.

You can't group Muslims together like that that's all I'm saying. Terrorists flew planes into 2 buildings not Muslims.

lol, that understood, fact remains there are a lot of terrorists who are muslim

its undeniable, the mosque being built so close makes it easy to see why some find it in bad taste

its opinon, nothing more, nobody is denying the right for it to be built
