Guy at Bachelor party at the Phillies game dies

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A man who was attending a bachelor party at a bar next to the Philadelphia Phillies' ballpark has been beaten to death during a melee outside.

Police say a group from the bachelor party got into a fight with other patrons at a sports bar and restaurant in the Citizens Bank Park complex Saturday night. The trouble started during the closing innings of a game between the Phillies and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The groups were told to leave McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon, and the dispute moved outside to a parking lot.

Police say 22-year-old Lansdale resident David Sale was assaulted there and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The World Series champion Phillies say they won't comment until arrests are announced.

My bosses friends son just got the living crap beat out of him down at the University of Delaware because he was leaving a bar and bumped a table on accident and spilled the guys beer. Guy is in bad shape. All over a beer. The culprit was 32 years old.

These guys are from Fishtown aging up to 45. All had records and supposedly I just read that there were 30 of them against 7 of the kids from Lansdale. Some people are just phucking idiots dont care if its Philly or wherever. Just a shitty thing

I bet if he said "sorry" as opposed to "f*ck you" things would have been different.
Of course, I'm just speculating; but when I f*ck up, I say I'm sorry, buy the other guy a beer or something, and things are usually better. This doesn't happen much amongst the 20-something crowd. Again, just generalizing here.

Think u have the right spin Bob. The guys that did the beating are from a rough spot in North Philly and it prob wouldnt have taken too much from a bucnch of 20 year olds to set em off. Just plain stupidity

yeah. pretty much no such thing as someone "being the bigger person" anymore

pretty lame. going out isnt going out anymore, its a big competition to see who's the biggest hard ass.

have known people who have had their lives changed really significantly because of shit like this. wish some people would just wake up and relax.

yep, or the juiced up homos "jager bombs jager bombs" type. just too many guys listening to stupid ass "hip POP" (lil wayne etc) thinking the lyrics somehow apply to them honestly thinking it gives them "street cred" to get in a fight over a guy accidentally bumping into you at a club
