Handicapping programs/Game log databases
I wanted to ask if anyone has an opinion on any of the various handicapping programs out there. Whenever I am handicapping a game I do some statistical analysis in excel or just quickly in my mind. Another thing I lack is a database of game logs/box scores. If anyone has any information/thoughts on these I'd appreciate it.
Sorry if this isn't the right forum, but it seems to be. |

I used MicroBros this past season for NCAAF. It did have its + and -. I did like the fact that you can create and test your own formulas and test before you use them, and also you could pull up most stats quick like Points allowed and points scored. My dislikes were if you did create a formulas and they worked well they were avalible for everyone to use who owned the software. I dont think I touched the surface yet on what this program can do, but you do have to re-new every season & download the latest program.

i too have used microbros and as chi town has explained it has its advantages and disavantages... but like everything in handicapping;trying to perfect something it is going to take some time to acheive that.... ive just recently learned to achieve unseen insight in my picks to go along with the statistical, money management and emotion side..... 20 years and im still a baby to this...go figure
