Has anybody ever been....

an extra in a movie?

I got a call up yesterday arvo to be an extra in the new Baz Luhrmann movie 'Australia' which is being filmed in the city I live in.

Anywayz at 7am this morn I find myself interacting with Baz Luhrmann who was giving us instructions and less than a metre from Nicole Kidman for the whole day!!!!!

I am a 1950's pilot who helps Kidman and others off this boat onto a pontoon in the very first scene of the movie!

Kidman is glamour and I was standing there for hours, star struck as a mother fuker.

Pleased for you man, best of luck.

Know some people who were involved with Lord of the Rings in various ways. Some semi major roles, know some extras too, for extras they were after either really short or really tall people. The cast numbers on that movie was insane.

I was a body double in a lot of ol John Holmes films. Never saw my face, just my junk. A lot like Waylon Jennings hands only making the Dukes of Hazzard
