Has anyone ever applied for a patent
on a device or idea...
if so what was the invention? and how difficult was it to obtain and protect wde

Oops... I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild. NFL 21-10-2 +17.60 units NFL Playoffs 2-2 -.70 units Posted Bowls 1-1 -.20 units NCAA Baskets 1-0 +1 unit

My cousin invented the thumbrella...never heard of it huh ?
It was a small protective plastic canopy that popped out of your suit coat sleeve with a touch of the thumb. Invented to cover your breif case, documents, books, etc...In the event of unexpected weather. After over $10,000 invested, and the promise of production of the item, he gave up. It sounded stupid to us, and suppose that it was. Many companies are set up to take you broke on new inventions and patents. Big promises and little results.

I'll have my name attached to both a design patent and a utility patent within the next couple months, but doesn't really mean much since its my company that will have ownership of them. Should net me a plaque and a free dinner at some point - gotta love corporate America!
