Has the economy changed your habits?

It has mine.

Defiantly watch my spending, cut back on the gambling and basically trying to cut where i can.

Anyone else being affected in many ways?

no not really. the economy is actually really good if you were smart and didnt get into debt. the only problem right now is the avalability of credit. if you are a cash only person, you are better off now; you can get things for much cheaper than you could 6 or 12 months ago. if you have a job, and you are good at it, and you are prepared, then you are sitting in good shape. if you overspent, used up your credit, and procrastinate at work (or worked in a get rich scheme kind of industry . ie sub prime loans), then you are screwed.

I spend less now than i used to, but only because everything is cheaper than before.

It`s not effecting me because I`m debt free and have been for some years now. I have credit cards and if I use one I`ll pay the whole bill when it comes in. I like to deal in cash and not credit. If I don`t have the money I don`t buy it.

I am credit card-debt free and a saver, so losing my job hasn't killed me... yet. I have cut back on buying needless things though.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?
