Has Steve Kerr redeemed himself as a GM?

No one expected this team to be playing in Western Conference finals

what you think?

It all depends upon how much value you put on steering the organization away from the biggest fraud coach in history, Mike D'Antoni

Everybody thinks some loser who doesn't believe in defense is a great coach, sure he can win 50 games and he'll never win a championship, or get close, because when the chips are down he doesn't teach lockdown defense

Kerr gets points in my book for getting rid of the idiot. How much value you place on that determines whether or not he has redeemed himself. If it took Kerr to get rid of him, then yes he has done it imo.

The Suns have wasted Nash and a lot of other talent now for almost a decade.

...and because of that fact, ONLY an NBA Championship will truly make Kerr a redeemable figure in the minds of Suns fans.

Oh, and more Suns dancers that look like this girl...

Kerr has done more than just get rid of D'Antoni, he added some key pieces via trades

also hats off to Gentry who has developed these young players

he has been working in quite an unenviable position, trying to win with an owner constantly obsessed with staying under the tax.......you are not going to be popular when you trade 2 number 1's for a number 2, but you are doing your job.....

all that considered I think he has done well with what he had to work with, but in the NBA doing well doesnt mean all that much.....it's about winning championships.....
