If they have frozen all assets, this could be a long time. Probably not until the end of the year. If they allow people to remove their assets, I would get them out the minute they give the green light.

the last things these companies want is to put the legal shit behind them only to find out everyone wants their cash back....theyre not gonna like that

soooooooo

they will give existing players huge incentives to continue playing....maybe 20% of whatever is in there as long as some rollovers are met.....with that said im sure most will still leave but im sure they can get some to return over time

PEACE

I received a magazine called Magnum Pro Football, which is a front for MVP and it's sister casinos. They give you the usual stats and predictions that 500 other mags give you for this years NFL season. What I found intersting is that they openly invited illegal Bookmakers to sign up with BettorsNet.com to set up a "price-per-head" relationship.

This is just begging the Feds to close you down, and that is exactly what happened. Every sportsbook advertised in this Mag has been shut down, including MVP, V-wager, Millennium and Players, to name a few. This is what you will be facing when you play offshore or with your local man. The risk of losing your funds is higher now than ever. Get that Vegas connection guys and gals.

Will is right BD. This is old news. They have been pushing BettorsNet for a long time. Also the publisher that published Magnum was one of the companies indicted as well (I believe)

Perhaps you could explain to the membership exactly how someone would go about getting a "Vegas connection"? Thanks.

August 14th is the day the restraining order is set to expire. It is expected that the Judge will make some kind of ruling instead of extending the temporary order. I believe we will learn something near that date. I have heard it’s 50/50

All of you big time gamblers in here and no one knows anyone in Vegas? Judge, you seem to love to go to Vegas around New Years, and you don't have a contact there? Do you guys gamble at all when you go to Vegas? Nickel Slots do not count guys. Doesn't anyone in here play at a $100.00 a hand Blackjack table, or Pot Limit Hold 'Em? I don't expect anyone in here to play "No Limit", but at least "Pot Limit". If you really play the game, and can't get a connection in Vegas, you either have not been to Vegas (which is rather hard to believe) or you have not done your homework. Don't you ever get your rooms comped? Your meals comped? With all the talk about big time gambling in here, SOMEONE must know what I am talking about. No offense Judge, but for someone who is suppose to know all about gaming, you really are an amateur. If you travel to Vegas and pay those rediculous prices over New Years, and still don't have a contact, shame on you. If you get comped, then shame, shame on you. Figure it out yourselves guys.

Thank you for once again avoiding my question. For all of your talk of "Vegas connections" you have really never provided this board with any real insight as to how the average gambler can take advantage of the perks that you claim to have such free access to.

I am also amused by your depiction of me as being am "amateur" when your blowhard, self serving posts are so typical of one who really has no clue as to how "Vegas" works in the 21st century. The last time I paid for a room or even airfare to Vegas was long before I encountered you in this forum, but I digress.

My question to you, Mr. Bigshot, was how can an average gambler develop a "Vegas connection" so that he or she can legally place bets at a Vegas sportsbook without actually physically being present? In some of your prior posts, you have stated that there is a senario that exists for some suposedly elite players and I want you to describe such an arrangement to those of us that are seemingly less informed.

The fact of the matter is that no such accomodation exists for anyone residing outside of the state of Nevada and your inuendos to the contrary are nothing more than rubbish.

I for one, would be impressed if you would offer this board anything other than your usual chest beating. Your game is tired, old man and I seriously doubt that you ever held a job at a casino, much less own two gambling "consulting" busineses. To give credit where it is due, you do indeed appear to have a fairly good grasp of the idosyncrancies of football gambling but from what I have witnessed here and elsewhere, your handicapping skills leave a lot to be desired. Please prove me wrong this season and in the meantime, please learn how to answer a direct question.
