Thumbs down Have to buckle down

I have been hit just like everyone else but now I am going to have to change my lifestyle and I am not happy. To old for change. My wife was laid off today and my business is slowed down to a crawl. I have no bills except house and utilities so I am doing better than most but I have 1 in college and 2nd going next year.
I will be begging like senior.
Just another bump in the road but the road looks like a washboard

I know how you feel mate, I have a business too. Been very slow the last few months.
A sign of the times, as much as anything.

Even though she didn't make that much it kept us from not having to make a drastic change. We have to change now.

I'm sure there are many of us in the same boat right now, the economy sucks in most countries at the moment, hope things turn around soon, don't want to get to the point where I have to sell my body as a party favor.

Sorry to hear about your wife getting layed off and businees is slow. It must be hard on her after giving so many years to the place she worked. I`ve been reading your posts since October of 2004. There is one thing I know for sure. You are an honest hardworker. You treat people with respect and fairness, your business will gradually pick up again. Your customers know who to go to when they need something done. Times like this people put things off until they have no choice, but to get it fixed. You and your family hang in there. Things will turn around my man. If you need anything pwherr. Get my information from Dr. Jack.

Were all in this together. I feel your pain Paul as my business has really fallen off in the last 6 months. Just kicked a client to the curb yesterday and I would not have done it if I didn't have someone to fill his spot. Its tough out here and in my 19 years of business I can't remember tougher times. I believe its going to get worse so best of luck to you and your family. If you get sick of the snow you can always move out to sunny California. You still won't have work but at least you will have sun shine and me living in the same state. BOL

Tough when you don't have any equity to "weather " the financial storm. Young couples just starting out that lose their job in the first 5 years of a home ownership probably have very little savings and a lot of debt.
