What happened, has season 1 ended or is it on a short break? I have only seen 10 eps so far.

10 episodes per season is not unusual for HBO.

On July 30, 2009, it was announced that HBO had renewed the series for a second season set to air Summer 2010.

They brought Curb back also.I just watched the 2nd new one and I laughed from beginning to end.It was about getting road head.
