Arrow Healthy Eating Tip #1

HEALTHY EATING TIP # 1 :

I’m going to share with you probably a tip you may not have heard of before for
improving your diet or lifestyle.

There is one incredibly common ingredient that you may not know too much about and it seems somewhat innocent , but you should really avoid it like the PLAUGE :
CORN SYRUP !

Its everywhere : in soft drinks , frut beverages , cookies , jams , breads , ice cream ,
cakes , some crakers , spaghetti sauces , frozen pizzas , salad dressings , granola bars,
kraft dinner , cake mixes , cheese cakes , boxed potato mixes , ice cream bas ,
low fat deli meats ( to make them taste better), frosted flakes , cheerios ,
baked low cholesterol chips , mayonaise , pan cake mix and so on.
Chech your kitchen, freezer and see what products you have at home with this item.
You’d bee surprised !

Fourty years ago Corn Syrup didn’t exist , yet in 2001 the average American ate 62 POUNDS OF IT in ONE YEAR !!!
That’s about one pound per week , or 3500 calories of sugar !!!.

Its become popular by food manufacturers for 3 reasons :

It tastes sweeter than regular sugar , so they don’t have to use as much.
Its absurdly cheap and saves them money and ite easier to blend into beverages and foods than refined sugar...

Metabolically , it doesn’t register in your body the same way that glucose does but actually in a much more sinister way . It acts more like fat in terms of the hormones that are involved in
potential weight gain.Fructose has been shown to elevate levels of triglycerides and thus increase your risk of heart disease . This stuff never existed until recently and now prevades the food supply so beware when you buy your food products .

that was the first thing i cut out/down in my diet when i started eating good about 5 yrs ago.

cut out soda and fast food, and i lost 10lbs that didn't need to come off. if a big fat ass did that they'd probably lose 10x that much.

That was my ticket when i was in highschool/college.. I could eat freakin anything and it did not matter. Not the case now. I always drop weight come spring time when i work 70-80hrs /wk, but pack on the lbs. in winter when i am home.
