A few days ago he posted a few suggestions on what he does and what info he looks at. If you do a search in this forum or the NBA forum, you can probably find it. The post was this week. Hope it helps.

Believe me BB.....there are NO "hard and fast" rules to capping.
And you can't become proficient at it from 2 easy lessons.

What you need to do is to try and cap as many games as you can each day. Not necessarily to bet on them, but to see how your capping corresponds to the actual outcomes later that night.

If capping was easy, everyone would be doing it.

Good Luck.

The basics are basically the "Win/Loss" records of the teams.
Start with that and see if you can correlate THAT to how they fared that night.

Pimp posted this in one of his threads back on 2/1 I hope it helps

I look at matchups I like first, then the line. Then look at where I think they should be, and lastly the public percentages and of course line movements. Usually works great in college ball but this year it's been up and down.
I like to bet on or against teams I'm very familiar with that's why you will see a lot of the same teams. I also like mid-major games like the temple's, cal state fullerton's, etc, where not much attention is paid to those games. Then I will read their local school or local news paper for other info and look at matchups and injuries.

This year has been the ODDEST year in college hoops of any year ever. Been working just great in NBA though.

You keep thinking that capping is a science.....its NOT.
You accumulate knowledge over time.....years.

Yes, you should read as many books on the subject matter as you can.
Start by going to your local library and see what books they have on the shelf.

Good Luck.

This is how I select my pick. I take two bananas and label each team on each banana. I take a monkey and set him down. I set the two bananas equally apart from the monkey. Which ever banana he runs to is the team I pick. Hope this helps.
