Theres something I really dont get...round robbins. I got 8 teams...4 ways, which comes out to 70 bets...each for 5$...totaling 350...havent done it yet...but thinking about it. I just dont get what the adv. and disadvantages are... so for 350, how many games out of the 8 do I need to hit to come ahead? Please, someone explain this to me.

out of 8 and doin it by 4? i dont know the #'s...

i kno the #'s for 8 teams... 3 per ticket...

for 3/3... 6/8 and plus gets u profit.

Each winning four teamer pays $50 so you need to hit 7 out of 70 to win $35. Anything above that is gravy.

When you play 4 team parlays in a RR of 8 teams.....there are 70 combinations.

Number of winning tickets:
a) if all 8 games are correct - 70
b) if only 7 games are correct - 35
c) if only 6 games are correct - 15
d) if only 5 games are correct - 5
e) if only 4 games are correct - 1
f) less than 4 games are correct - 0

4 team parlays pays approximately 10-1

If you get 5 games correct....you would collect $250 ($5 x 10 x 5)

Therefore, to make a profit, you would need to get 6 games correct which will pay you $750 ($5 x 10 x 15).

Basically....if you hit only 5 games.....you would consider that as your break even point.

You are rolling in dough if you hit 6 or more games.
