Here we go on this subject again....

On Jim Rome right now 2-15-06 an ex-mob / gambler Micheal Frances is telling how athletes are FIXING games to detremine outcomes for others players or friends to pay gambling debts.

He would not say if a Super Bowl or larger game has been FIXED, but the smaller in-season games YES.

He was on "Classic Now" the other night and estimated that when he was a Bookmaker, from his knowledge, that 25% of professional athletes were gamblng on sports

He has a website as well, but I think it is more for a person that has a gambling problem. Last name is spelled Franzes.

where there is money, there will always be corruption.

guarantee that there is fixes going on in sports.

ie: (basketball) free throws, turnovers, missed shots, stupid fouls, etc. there is no one to prove anything on anyone... why ? because we are human and make mistakes, so that is the perfect coverup.

over/under for instance. sometimes seemingly you are out of it with a min or two left in the game. all of a sudden there are a couple of steals, easy layups, open jumpers, fouls and the just reach the number by .5 or 1 over it.

there will always be fixes in sports. only people that gamble will notice them. if you are the average fan you would take the game for what it is and the fact of it being fixed would not even cross your mind. but when money is on the line things are observed to microscopic proportions.

if he's a real "mob guy" he wouldn't open his mouth and go on the radio..... he's just another wannabe looking for his 15 minutes of fame after the "Super Bowl controversy"

The thing is, he never mentioned any names.

Pigskin, he has been on Jim Rome before.

that doesn't mean anything... if he was a "big-time guy" with the mob and spoke out like he does, people would come knockin' at this door

From the sound of it, it seems like he is protected. Like maybe he is not using his real name.
