Hey Lexus!

Go and F yourself! Yeah, I wish I could buy my parents a nice car but I cannot and I don't want to see your stupid commercial and jingle every 10 minutes. Sick of it!

Lets stop the class warfare ok? Jealousy will never get you anywhere my friend. Instead of trying to bring us Christmas SUV buyers down, try to bring yourself up..

I don't think I could ever be jealous of you. I'm just not a materialistic person and I find these commercials a bit pretentious.

Firstly, the commercial is for a lease deal - It's like "Merry christmas honey! oh and btw, here's your payment book"

But seriously if you really love a woman, you'd buy her a house- Free and clear.

Theres another world out there my friend, and that commercial was aimed at them..... You see there's a tax loophole for people like me where I can get a heavy SUV every year for free. If it's over a certain weight you can right off the entire price of the vehicle and I think some depreciation too!..They add weight to some SUV's to make them qualify. It's either give an extra 50k to Uncle Sam in April or buy a new vehicle before January 1rst. That is the demographic the ad wizards at Lexus are trying to reach here. Not you-

But i'm not looking down on you..I was young and poor once..in the early eighties I bought my wife a complete bake ware set from K-Mart for like $3.98. I thought she'd just love it. She made some cup cakes in it on X-Mas day and I saw her try to get them out of the pan- It looked like you'd need a jack hammer to get these things out of there. She was hitting the back of the pan, slamming it on the counter top and everything....Then I saw her throw it in the garbage, cupcakes and all...Yikes!

Bless her little heart, she never complained about it..But I saw what she did..

Firstly, wtf are you talking about

What about taxes and bills that go with the house? Same as the lease, assuming you are leasing the car and not paying the monthly payments yourself

When I saw this thread last night, I figured it wouldn't be long before Western Playdouche was in here to report that he commonly buys cars for people because he's so extremely wealthy, cool, and good-looking.

I sorta figured he might mention that Lexus is beneath awesome people like him, though. Mere mortals haven't even heard of the kind of cars WP buys. They use Bugattis for snowplows in the exclusive foothills.

I'm just sayin..There's another world out there, and you're not in it- and that that commercial is not meant for you. I remember procratinating until after Christmas some years and I could'nt find a dealership that had SUV vehicles over 6000 lb in stock. They sold out every year in December. I just said "listen..I'll take anything you got over 6000 pounds"...I mean, it was free in the long run- No, it was free in 3 months..April 15th
