This show freaks me out....

Don't watch it anymore. Gets kind of disturbing with the dead animals, used diapers, rotten maggot infested food, etc. The extreme level of some of the OCD behavior is really sad. Just destroys their lives. It's tough to watch when kids are involved.

I've watched three episodes by chance cuz the TV was on while I was working offline.

Funny thing is that she calls me a hoarder--only diff is that I am organized and don't keep stuff that creates odor/mildew. Most of my collecible stuff is packed anyways. Can cardboard boxes absorb humity in the air thus emit odor and smell? Yes, but I have an HRV unit in the house running constantly regulating the air.

Those horaders on TV are extreme cases--emotional probs and lazy. Not me at all.

My collection is all packed--don't see what's that's gonna do to show a room as storage full top to bottom. Give it time and I will.

personally I dunno what you all see in that show. I am a collector too, I got a jukebox and coca cola machine in the covered area of my patio, and a gas station dispenser from the 40's refurbished in my garage not to mention a bunch of old signs stacked up against one wall out there too lol.
inside the house i turned one of the bedrooms into a man cave to watch games and stuff. i got alot of sports memorabillia in there and in 2 other closets as well and also got a case of "billy carter beer" in there also with all of my primo beer collection that I have had forever.
I wouldnt consider myself a hoarder, but I am a collector but that show is just nasty. you guys want to watch a good show check out that show pickers now that is a good show, heck even pawn stars is better than that hoarders crap and its funny too..
