Normally wouldn't post something like this but I think it's a really cool idea. This site lets you find out the value of any real estate in the U.S. Pretty nice map setup and way more detail than you might have ever thought was out there for the public to see!

Yeah it took me 2-3 tries before it got through. Apparently this site just debuted either today or earlier this week. I was floored with how accurate it was for my place though.

LOL, depressed too to see how much value I lost since the real estate peak this past summer!

says 1 floor----have 2

says 1232 sq. ft.----is 3,000


value is fairly accurate though

dyam this a very good site.... friggin now im pissed my parents sold the house.. its currently worth 780,000 and 2 years ago my parents sold it for 670,000. It was a good investment cuz back in 1996 when my parents bought it was 298,000. Oh well but i miss the house....

That's because they are pulling them from the tax assesment.It was word for word about my house but the amount was screwed up.

Part of the information is pulled from county's accessment values, but there also other factors that compose the estimated value of the property like recent sales activity on comps and market conditons. Overall, it's a good tool for conusmers to use without digging for the information themselves.

If it works for your house great but 8,300 for my house was just a hair off.LOL
I have a 2.5 car detached garage with a loft and that is worth more than 8,300 you would think.My shed is worth 8,300.
