Hope everyone from the Pittsburgh area is OK

We got pounded with 3 waves of storms here today. 4 inches of rain in areas, 70 mph winds, flooding in lots of places, 100,000 homes withot power.

Fortuneately for me, the 2 worst waves just kind of parted around my immediate area. Just north and just south people have tons of cleaning up to do.

Would like to know if everyone made it through without major damage.

Snowman, BCBadgalz, Pigskin, Steel, and others I know I am forgetting could have had these storms go through their neighborhoods today. Hope they are all fine.

Thanks, Mr Who.

Lightning was something to see today. Just constant bolts flashing and then the kind of thunder that shakes your house. Some pretty amazing videos on the local news channels.

If you have been to PNC park, just on the opposite side of the circle, the Carnegie Science Center suffered some damage--windows blown out, and so on. State of disaster emergency for the whole Pittsburgh region.

Am I the only one that thinks that Rev must live a horrible existence?

Damn son, You seem to hate every f*cking place you have ever visited which, based on your posted experience, must be just about everywhere. Yet, you choose to live in Korea which somehow allows you to right to hate the rest of the world if for no other reason, than the fact that you are the most unhappy person alive.

Smell a flower or something and quit being so miserable.

All good here Randle. Man that was a hell of a day today wasnt it? It was worse at work for me than home. In 32 years that was the worst lightning I have ever experienced.

A lot of people werent so lucky...the people in Millvale especially. From what they said on the news there was only 1 person hospitalized so that is a blessing.

i don't hate everywhere dude...i posted us cities i like in another thread..actually there are only 4 places outside of the usa that i really didnt like: paris, tunis, bangkok...and where i am now(south korea)...but the work is easy and the money better than the average person in usa would get for a much harder job and more hours...i will be a happy person (i promise) in 216 days when i finish my contract and be able to travel anywhere and everywhere for a long long time

Feel sorry for some of those people. Some have had flooding in there neighborhoods 3 times in 5 days, twice today. And I dont mean just 6 inches of water either.

Catch some of the news videos people submitted if you can. Some amazing stuff went on today.

Glad to hear you are OK. Glad it decided to just part around my area. My basement get water during the heavy rains. Cant believe it stayed dry today. Whew...

Strange thing is that I fish off my deck in back off the house ( Jacobs Creek) and had nary a drop of water in the basement.. Yet homes in downtown Latrobe and Greensburg have water in their basements.. You stay dry Alby ?? .... Are you heading up to 7- Springs for any of the concerts this weekend..??? Got tickets to the Clarks.. Golf course has been closed since the storm will open Saturday..
